Aeropark Budapest Vintage Flashback

Aeropark Budapest Aviation Museum located on the outskirts, southeast of Budapest, Hungary.  Home to some fantastic vintage airport support vehicles like Follow-me cars plus Russian built airliners including a Malev, Tupolev TU-134.  They organize occasional events featuring the legendary airworthy Li-2 along with their vintage Malev Ikarus bus, making for a fantastic historical match.

The Lisunov Li-2 was  a license-built version of the Douglas DC-3. A production license was awarded to the Soviet government in 1936 for operation by Aeroflot before the start of World War II.

Thanks to the Aeropark Budapest Aviation Museum for the photos. If you’re ever in the area, pay them a visit.
