Surinam Airways

Surinam Airways, also known as SLM, Surinaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappi, in Dutch, meaning– Surinamese Aviation Company.  The airline was established in 1953 by Dutch entrepreneurs with two Cessna 170B. Their Douglas DC-8 joined them around 1975 for international routes to Amsterdam, Curacao, Georgetown, Miami and Panama City. They’re still in service today.
