West Coast Airlines

West Coast Airlines was a regional airline formed in 1941, (then called a “local service” airline) and was one of the first jet powered regional airlines. In 1956 WCA began service with the Fairchild F-27 and in 1968, the DC-9. On July 1, 1968 West Coast merged with Pacific Air Lines and Bonanza Air Lines to form Air West, which became Hughes Airwest in 1970 –
